Jennifers pooch
is blessed

By Ronen Zilberman, Star-Bulletin
A pets blessing ceremony yesterday at St. Clement's
Episcopal Church in Makiki drew Jennifer Druyfus
and Clover. The blessing celebrates the church feast
of St. Francis of Assisi, a 13th-century monk who
preached about man's relationship with all of God's
creation. He is the patron saint of ecology and animals.
