Tirrell McGruder, Michel Lutfy and Dr. Lori Kimata
haven't quit their day jobs yet, but last night they were
rehearsing as the African drum group Jamarek. McGruder
is a receptionist for a hearing aid firm, Lutfy a house painter
and Kimata a naturalpathic physician. They were playing
in the shelter of an Ala Moana concession stand.
