There is a burden in my heart for Hawaii and America to return to the traditional family values and sound economic principles upon which our nation was founded. I cannot remain idle while laws are being passed that attack the family and remove God from all aspects of government and all areas of the public arena.
What are the top three issues facing Hawaii (from most pressing to least)?
a) Pass laws that will strengthen traditional family values. The family is the foundation of our culture; everything is built upon it. b) Strengthen and diversify Hawaii's economy. c) Improve education and schools.
Are changes needed to the civil service system? If so, what are they?
Yes, it has not been amended in 40 years. The counties, University of Hawaii and the state hospital system should be allowed to negotiate their own collective-bargaining agreements. As it stands today, the counties must fund the contracts the state negotiates. They need autonomy.

a) Quality of public education system; b) Impact of fixed state budget costs; and c) Income disparity.
Are changes needed to the civil service system? If so, what are they?
The civil service system should protect workers' rights for the ultimate purpose of improving public services. To this extent, the system should create incentives for employees to increase productivity.
