Chris Fuamatu-Ma'afala finally got to touch the ball for the Pittsburgh Steelers yesterday and he did his best to turn things around in the last two minutes at Cleveland Browns Stadium. Fuamatu-Maafala

failed rallyFrom the Cleveland 36, the former St. Louis School and University of Utah running back caught an eight-yard pass from Kent Graham, then carried 20 and two yards to the Browns' six.
But the Steelers' rally fell short. Graham spiked the ball at the six and then was sacked as Cleveland wrapped up a 23-20 victory to keep the Steelers winless.
Fuamatu-Ma'afala, who had missed the Steelers' season opener with bruised ribs, wasn't inserted until the second half when Richard Huntley left the game with a hamstring injury.
Fuamatu-Ma'afala also had a special teams tackle.
Molokai native Kimo von Oelhoffen started at nose tackle for Pittsburgh and had two tackles.
Itula Mili, former Kahuku and Brigham Young tight end, had a one-yard touchdown reception with 9:23 left in the fourth quarter for the Seattle Seahawks in their 20-10 victory over New Orleans at Husky Stadium.Mili's touchdown gave the Seahawks a 17-10 lead.
Mili had 22 yards on four catches, with a long of 11 yards as Seattle won its first game in three outings.
Olin Kreutz, the former St. Louis School and University of Washington standout, and his Chicago Bears fell to 0-3, losing to the New York Giants, 14-7.
Kreutz's line gave up four sacks on Cade McNown.
Defensive lineman Ma'a Tanuvasa, former Mililani and University of Hawaii star, had one tackle in Denver's 33-24 win at Oakland.
Denver's Jason Elam, former UH kicker, remains sidelined with a fractured vertebrae he suffered last week.
Former UH linebacker Jeff Ulbrich got in the game for the 49ers during San Francisco's 41-24 loss at St. Louis but left apparently injured.
Former Leilehua and University of West Virginia running back Adrian Murrell will be in action tonight for the Washington Redskins as they take on the Dallas Cowboys.
