THE HEALING PROCESS
Students Michelle Witteveen of Punahou and Janice Sung of Iolani are among the many who were upset by last spring's ill will between some of the two schools' athletes that culminated in property destruction at Iolani. They decided to do something to foster a positive relationship.Witteveen and Sung each have signed up about 200 students from their respective schools for a new Young Leaders club, in which the schools will combine forces to do good works in the community.
"I want to leave something of importance behind when I leave Punahou," said Witteveen, a senior tennis player.
