St. Patrick School
celebrates 70 years

St. Patrick School in Kaimuki marked its 70th anniversary
yesterday with a luau. Terry Koki, above, danced while
alumni shared yearbooks and memories. Holding '40s and
'50s yearbooks are, from left, 1949 grads Pablo Cortes
and Clara Cortes, present principal Sister Rose Miriam
Schillinger, 1949 grad and current teacher Winona
Gonsalves, '40s teacher Sister Mary Charlohe, '50s
teacher Sister Cecile Marie, Adeline Trask, secretary
from 1946 to 1990, and Sister Georgene, teacher in the '60s.
