Three central Oahu parks were blessed in ceremonies yesterday. In
the top picture, ground was broken at the dedication of a new park in
Mililani Mauka. Above, Jasmine Ellis holds up the lei used during the
blessing of Wahiawa Park by Rev. Edward Fujinaga from Haleiwa
Evangelical Mission. Mayor Jeremy Harris, below, stands behind
three Helemano Elementary students at the Whitmore Park
blessing. Both Wahiawa and Whitmore parks received
new playground equipment.
