The following lane and ramp closures on the H-1 freeway and surrounding streets are planned for the coming week:
Monday-Thursday, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.: Night paving work with the closing of all westbound lanes from the Kapiolani off-ramp to the Punchbowl on-ramp.
Monday-Thursday, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.: Median lane of H-1 Freeway eastbound from Kinau to Punahou streets for barrier work. Lane and shoulder closing for highway lighting work on Vineyard Boulevard, Ward Avenue on-ramp, Kinau off-ramp and Lunalilo Street through Magellan Avenue. Lane closures at McCully and Keeaumoku overpasses and Vineyard on- and off-ramps for bridge railing upgrades.
Overnight Tuesday-Thursday: McCully Street overpass from Dole to Beretania streets will close from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for bridge railing work. Lane closure on westbound H-1 in vicinity of Lunalilo and Vineyard ramps, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Left lane of eastbound H-1 in vicinity of Kinau off-ramp closed at 9 p.m., and at 10 p.m. an additional lane will close until 5 a.m.
Tuesday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Lane and periodic ramp closings on westbound H-1 between Kapiolani and University interchanges for guardrail work. Sections of Bingham Street closed for waterline work and limited to local traffic. Keeaumoku Street lanes closed with no access to Lunalilo Street from Keeaumoku Street, plus Lunalilo Street lane closures and detours due to waterline work. Local traffic only. Lunalilo Street off-ramp from westbound H-1 closed. Local traffic only on Metcalf Street due to waterline work.
Tuesday-Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Metcalf and Dole intersection, along with McCully Street overpass closed.
