Former junior world champion Kalani Robb of Hawaii won his third round heat yesterday to advance in the Hossegor (France) Rip Curl Pro surf contest.

Robb was the only Hawaii surfer competing in the men's division yesterday.

Hawaii's Megan Abubo and Rochelle Ballard advanced in the women's portion of the event.
