Nogas work in American
Samoa and on mainland

Question: What ever happened to the Noga brothers -- Falaniko, Petelo and Alapati; aka Niko, Pete and Al -- who were football standouts for UH in the 1980s?

Answer: Niko, Pete and Al, along with younger brother George (Tupuola) Noga, who also played at UH, are not living in Hawaii, their older brother, John Noga, said.

None of the brothers is playing football, but Niko and Al both played in the NFL after college. Al and George also had stints in the Arena Football League and Professional Indoor Football League, respectively.

Niko moved two years ago to American Samoa, where he is athletic director at an American public school and a head coach at Maryknoll, a private school. Niko visits Hawaii from time to time and participates in the "Hawaii's Strongest Man" competition.

Pete and Al live in Hollywood and work in the movie industry.

Al, who works as a bodyguard for actors, also is a part-time junior college football coach.

George lives in Alaska.
