Manu N. Brown, 43, of Pearl City, an automobile mechanic, died July 18 in Queen's Hospital. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Milisa; son Manu II; daughter Dayna Offutt; parents Alfred Sr. and Frances; brothers Alfred A. Jr., Vincent M., Keni K. and William A.; sisters Dutchlyn Barnard, Lehua Williams and Cassandra Ridgle, and four grandchildren. Services: 1 p.m. Friday at Nanaikapono Protestant Church, 89-235 Pua Avenue, Nanakuli. Call after 11:30 a.m. Burial: 3 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park.

Masae S. Iizaki, 78, of Kaneohe, a retired Star Market cashier, died Saturday in Kuakini Geriatric Care. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by husband Leo; son Roy; daughters Iris, Amy and Susan; brothers Kenji Sumida and Thomas Sumida; sister Jean Takumi, and one grandchild. Agusta Kailihiwa, 84, of Waianae, died July 18 at home. She was born in Olaa, Hawaii. She is survived by son Stanley J. Kanae; stepsons Alfred, Harold and Joseph; 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Inurnment: 10 a.m. Friday at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery.

Vito J. Koscil, 61, of Waikoloa, Hawaii, a U.S. Air Force veteran and retired Pennsylvania state trooper, died Friday at home. He was born in Pottsville, Pa. He is survived by wife Jacqueline; sons Sean and Gregory; daughter Christine; father Frank; brother Francis; sisters Agnes Ward and Rita Sherwood, and four grandchildren. Services: 2 p.m. today at the Annunciation Catholic Church, Waimea.

Dorothy C. "Chi" Kuninobu, 96, of Honolulu died July 22 at home. She was born in Fukushima, Japan. She is survived by son Dr. Leonard S.; daughter Verna K. Nozaki; sisters Elizabeth Ogata and Jane Kusuhara, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services: 5 p.m. tomorrow at the Japanese Seventh-day Adventist Church in Manoa. Siu W. "Kwock Fan" Lam, 84, of Honolulu, a retired Hong Kong newspaper editor, died Tuesday in St. Francis Hospital. He was born in China. He is survived by wife Wai Ching; sons David, Charles, Man Chung and Brian; daughter Sook K. Yip, 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Services: Noon Saturday at Diamond Head Mortuary. Chinese Buddhist services from 9:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Diamond Head Memorial Park.

Kar C. Lau, 79, of Honolulu, died Friday in St. Francis Hospital. He was born in China. He is survived by sons Yat Chor and Yat Fai; daughters Irene O.L. and Linda O.C.; brother Hau C., and sisters Wah K. Lee and Sadie W.S. Lam. Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at Borthwick Mortuary. Rudolph V.K. Madeyski, 91, of Honolulu, a retired University of Hawaii groundskeeper, died Friday at home. He was born in Wailuku, Maui. He is survived by sons David Shidaki, Wallace Shidaki and Albert Shidaki; daughters Monique Madeyski, June Yoshinaga and Emma Miyashiro; and grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. Francis T. Nagasawa, 77, of Honolulu died July 23 in Pearl City Nursing Home. He was born in Kukuihaele, Hawaii. Violet T. Oishi, 69, of Honolulu, a retired educator and the first Cherry Blossom queen, died yesterday at home. She was born in Honolulu. Jonathan J. Santiago, 21, of Kealakehe, Hawaii, a laborer, died Wednesday in Kona Community Hospital. He was born in Hilo. Yoichiro Watanabe, 92, of Hawi, Hawaii, a retired carpenter for the Kohala Sugar Plantation, died Thursday in Kuakini Hospital. He was born in Halawa, Hawaii. Frances P. Wheeler, 85, of Honolulu, a retired preschool teacher, died Thursday at home. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah.
