Original Gill airbrush artwork from the 1950s will be
among items for sale at the Hawaii All-Collectors
Show. See 'Ohi'ohi in Booth 515.
There will be more than 200 booths featuring international, mainland and Hawaii vendors displaying aloha shirts, estate jewelry, lamps, kitchenware, Pokemon, stamps, surfing memorabilia, fine china, dolls, buttons, toys, Hawaiiana and more.
In a tribute to Hawaii sports heroes of yesteryear, there will be theme displays on athletes such as Buster Crabbe, Herman Wedemeyer, Henry Oana and others.

Hours of the collectibles and antiques show are 4 to 9 p.m. today; 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday; and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $3.50 for adults and $2 for keiki ages 7 to 11. On Sunday, those 65 and older may enter free.

For a $55 fee, participants may choose two of eight workshops covering aspects of writing and publishing. In addition, literary agents Roger Jellinek, Eden-Lee Murray, Sherrill Chidiak and Elizabeth Fujiwara will be on hand to review manuscripts.
Morning workshops run 9 a.m. to noon, with one choice from:
Fiction writing: Learn to develop characters, plots and dialogue through exercises with Chris McKinney, author of the acclaimed novel "Tattoo."
Non-fiction writing: Find the right voice with author and 10-year Aloha magazine editor Cheryl Chee Tsutsumi.
Children's writing: Author Bruce Hale offers tips for tales that hooks readers.
Poetry: Sue Cowing, 1996 Cades Award winner, tells how to find inspiration and discipline.
Afternoon workshops run from 1 to 4 p.m. with one choice from:
Internet writing and publishing: Kristine Bucar shares Web resources and opportunities.
Memoir and life story: Philip Damon, University of Hawai'i creative writing professor and 1989 Cades Award winner for literature, offers instruction in telling the story of one's life through narrative writing.
How to write book and magazine proposals: Author Karin Ireland offers step-by-step tips on submitting queries and proposals .
Self-publishing and marketing: Book consultant Rich Budnick tells how to publish in a way to minimize cost and bring profits.
