bride’s big dayNeiman Marcus Ala Moana will host "The Wedding Event" tomorrow and Saturday in its Third Level Gift Galleries.
The event, during store hours, will focus on aspects of planning for the big day, from personalized invitations to customized party favors, with wares on display both days.
Photographer Paul Hayashi and Evan Morita from Florist Grand will be in the store 1 to 3 p.m. Friday to consult with customers.
From noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, representatives from photo studios, florists, bakeries, hotels, limousine and travel services also will be providing information.
NM's bridal consultant will also be registering prospective brides and grooms.
Guests at the event may also register to win a honeymoon weekend at the Kea Lani Hotel, with airfare, car rental and Spa Kea Lani massage treatment, as well as other prizes. Call 951-3460.
In a separate event, Nars national makeup artist Lori Taylor will be at NM to introduce the Nars look for summer as tailored to individual taste, from barely there color washes to updated Mod looks.
Taylor visits the store 2 to 7 p.m. today and tomorrow and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday. Call 948-7587.
