Noa, Rams agree
on contract

ST. LOUIS -- Former University of Hawaii offensive tackle Kaulana Noa has agreed to a three-year contract with the St. Louis Rams.

Noa said he is relieved because he now can concentrate on football and not worry about being unsigned as training camp approaches.

Ken Zuckerman, Noa's agent, declined to reveal terms of the deal until Noa signs. But Noa said the contract is "what we expected."

Noa was a fourth-round selection of the Super Bowl champions. He leaves next tomorrow for the Rams' training camp, which begins July 21 at Western Illinois University.
