Mele Aipopo, 49, of Honolulu died Saturday in St. Francis Hospital. She was born in American Samoa. She is survived by husband Aipopo Jr.; sons Sauleli'a, Tielu and Tony; daughters Loretta and Aileen Aleki, Norine Tufele and Anovale Sula; mother Tausuati Te'o; brothers Mataiva and Tutu Tua, Lopeti Te'o and Tautasi Tupua; sisters Sifale Silva, Toalua Nofoa, Tausaga Paulo, Fuatino Puipui, Sa Fale, Fololika Mallon and Tilia Aloese, and eight grandchildren. Donald R. "Don" Barnett, 70, of Wahiawa, who retired from the U.S. Army, died June 11. He was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars. He was born in Detroit. Robert S. Bunch, 32, of Tampa, Fla., a graphic artist, died June 9 in Tampa, Fla. He was born in Honolulu. Kenneth B. Hipp Jr., 28, a former scuba instructor and commercial diver in Hawaii Kai, died June 8 in Patterson, La. He was born in Chapel Hill. N.C.
