Incoming 5th- to 8th-graders are eligible for the first session of the University of Hawaii summer youth football camp, which will be held next Monday through Wednesday from 9 a.m-3 p.m. UH summer youth

set to startThe cost for the non-contact drill instruction is $95 per camper.
The session for incoming 9th- to 11th-graders begins June 25 and runs through June 29. This session costs $125 per camper, but there is a group rate of $75 per person for groups of 10 or more.
Both sessions are at the UH football practice facilities.

College hoops tonight
The NCAA College Basketball Summer League begins it 24th season tonight with two games.Games are each Friday and Saturday at the Kaimuki High School gym starting at 6 and 7:30 p.m.
There is no admission charge.
In tonight's openers, Honolulu Ford plays Electricians Hawaii at 6 p.m., followed by Mango Moon vs. Central Medical Clinic at 7:30.
Gaspro and Team Crossover round out the six-team league.
The championship game is set for Aug. 12 at 7 p.m.
Volleyball shootout
The Oahu Volleyball Associations' Employment Specialists Shootout is tomorrow.Registration begins at 8:15 a.m. at the Queen's Surf Beach Sand Box. Play starts at 9 a.m.
The playoff format is double elimination in men's and women's open division.
The registration fee is $10 in advance and $15 the day of the event.

Wahine surf tomorrow
The Wahine Surfing Classic, hosted by China Uemura, takes place tomorrow and Sunday at Queen's Beach.The event is open to women and girls of all ages. Surfing runs from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day.
Divisions include longboard, shortboard and bodyboard.
Ohana football clinic
The Ohana Sports Maverick Football Clinic has added former University of Hawaii players Eddie Klaneski, David Maeva and Michael Carter to its staff.Six NFL players also will work the June 24-25 clinic at Iolani School.
The clinic brings in two varsity football players per high school statewide free of charge.
