Arellano J. Abad, 72, of Waialua, a Del Monte Pineapple Co. retiree, died May 6 in Kuakini Hospital. He was born in the Philippines. He is survived by wife Carolina; sons Mariano, Jesus, Orlando and Roger; daughters Terri Abad, Ida Lucas, Evelyn Mateo and Emma Guillermo; brothers Alipio and Pedro; sisters Susana and Ana Reyes, 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Shuichi Arakawa, 76, of Honolulu, retired president and general manager of T. Eki Inc./Eki Cyclery, died June 5 in Straub Hospital. He was born in Honolulu. Raymond Kam, 77, of Honolulu, president of Interstate Properties Inc., died Wednesday in Queen's Hospital. He was born in Waipahu.
