MOLOKAI
The senior was named the most outstanding pitcher of the state tournament, winning all three Molokai victories in relief. He gave up just three runs in 13 innings, striking out 12 and walking four.Raelen Self
KAMEHAMEHA
The senior guard hit back-to-back 3-pointers in a third-quarter run that gave the Warriors the lead they'd keep in the title game against Kalaheo. She hit four in the game and totaled 16 points, sinking 4-of-8 field goals and making 4-of-5 free throws
Honor Roll
Outstanding performers in high school sports last week include:BASEBALL
Bronson Sardinha, Kamehameha: Named the outstanding player for the tournament. In the last two games, he went 5-for-7 with 2 doubles and 5 RBIs.Apana Nakayama, Molokai: Was 5-for-9, with a triple and 5 RBIs.
Johnny Ray Dudoit, Molokai: Hit a homer in the title game to give Molokai the lead, and earned the save by getting the final three outs. He was also 3-for-4 with 3 RBIs against Kapaa.
Hubert Pruett, Kamehameha: Limited Kailua to just two singles in a five-inning shutout in the semifinals.
David Horswill, Kailua: Threw a 3-hitter to beat Castle and had a pair of hits and an RBI at the plate.
Blaine Umeda, Iolani: Had 6 straight hits to start the tournament, and finished with 8 RBIs. Also picked up a win in relief.
Reid Santos, Castle: Shut out Baldwin on five hits, striking out 10 batters. He was also was 2-for-5 at the plate.
Kaleo Lopez, Kapaa: Pitched a 4-hitter against Campbell and knocked in the eventual game-winning run with a two-run single.
Micah Furtado, Kapaa: Second baseman was 2-for-3 with 3 RBIs against the Farmers and ripped a two-run triple against Waiakea.
Josh Jones, Leilehua: Pitched two 4-hitters in a span of four days, plus smacked four hits.
Thomas Mahaulu, Waiakea: Was 2-for-3 against Iolani and knocked in the winning runs with a two-run single against Kapaa.
Dane Young, Kalani: Rapped a game-winning RBI single in an upset of Waianae in the OIA Tournament, and was 3-for-4 in the game.
His name was spelled incorrectly in last week's Honor Roll.
GIRLS' BASKETBALL
Brandy Richardson, Kalaheo: Named the state tournament MVP. Averaged 16 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.5 blocked shots, 2 steals and 2.5 assists in three games, including a game-high 18 points in the championship game.Kealani Kimball, Kamehameha: In final two games, scored 17 and 11 points, and pulled down a total of 22 rebounds.
Tai Soo, Kamehameha: Averaged 16.5 points in the first two games of the state tournament.
Milia Macfarlane, Punahou: Playing four straight nights, averaged just under 16 points, plus 3 assists and 2.5 steals a game.
Jade Savusa, Mid-Pacific: The senior averaged 17.5 points and 8 rebounds in four games.
Shannon Nishi, Mid-Pacific: The freshman guard ran the Owls offense, dishing out 12 assists in four games and averaging 6 points per contest.
Amy Kaaiakamanu, Waiakea: Scored winning basket in OT against Maui, and scored in double-digits in all three games.
Erika Tadio, Honokaa: Averaged 18 points and 6.5 boards in four games.
Chelsea Kohl, Seabury Hall: Shot 10-for-12 from the field for 23 points against Honokaa and averaged 17.5 points in two games.
Rosalinda Masler, Maui: Made 21-of-42 shots, had two double-doubles, and averaged 19 points and 11 rebounds.
Sequoya Stokes, Leilehua: Was one board short of three straight double-doubles and averaged 12 rebounds.
Maricris Sierra, Nanakuli: Was the only player to hit the 30-point mark in the state tournament, when she scored 33 against Kahuku.
JUDO
Anna Tong, Kaiser: The sophomore captured the 138-pound weight class for the second straight year in Saturday's OIA Judo Championships, and finished the year undefeated.
GIRLS' WATER POLO
Annie Richardson, Punahou: Scored the first two goals of the Buffanblu's 4-3 ILH Tournament title game win, and set up the third score with a perfect pass.
