Darrell Labrado will perform as part of the
free Hoku Awards celebration
Exhibits will include the "Hawaiian Music Hall of Fame" from Bishop Museum and the screening of Edgy Lee's award-winning film "Paniolo." Borders Books and Music will offer Hoku-nominated CDs for sale.
The entertainment roster follows:
5 p.m. -- Akoni and the Palapalai PatchThe Hoku Awards ceremony, honoring the best in Hawaiian music, takes place Sunday at the Sheraton Waikiki with a cocktail reception at 5 p.m. Awards will be presented from 6 p.m. The event will be broadcast from 8 p.m. on KFVE-TV.
