Crowning glory for
just the right kids

L'Oréal is once again sponsoring its "Be a L'Oréal Kid" contest, with a nationwide search for kids ages 3 to 12 to appear in its newest ads for hair care products for children.

Finalists will win a four-night trip to New York for themselves and an accompanying guardian for an audition. There will be 28 finalists. Ten grand prize winners selected from this group will appear in a fall 2000 ad campaign.

Enter by sending an entry form and color photo, with the child's name, address and phone number on the back, to: "Be a L'Oréal Kid" contest, P.O. Box 6000, Manhasset, NY 11030-6000.

L'Oréal Kids entry forms and contest information will be available through mid-June at participating retailers, the Website www.lorealkids.com, or by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: L'Oréal Kids Entry & Rules Request, P.O. Box 655, Sayreville, NJ 08871-0655. Entries must be postmarked by June 15 and received by June 22.

Among last year's winners was Christian Kitamura of Iolani School.
