The collection by the Munich-based design house reads a little bit Hollywood, a little bit high society, with feather-top gowns, fur trims and embellishments of Swarovski crystals and Oscar-worthy sequins.
Speaking of Oscars, among celebs who chose Escada for this year's Academy Awards ceremony were Angela Bassett, Julia-Louis Dreyfus, Mary Hart and "American Beauty" star Mena Suvari.
A few tickets remain for the event, which begins 10:15 a.m. with a performance by the Suzuki Strings in the ballroom lobby. The lunch and fashion show begins at noon. Tickets are $45.
