Shigeo "Thomas" Akiyama, also known as "Aki", 86, of Honolulu, a retired carpenter foreman for Hawaiian Dredging and Construction Company, died Thursday in Kuakini Hospital. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Eleanor; sons Dennis and James; daughters Shirley Arakaki, Iris Kim and Sandra Fasone; brother Nobuo; sisters Lillian Hamura and Masae Sugahara, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services: 4 p.m. Saturday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Call after 3 p.m. Cremation to follow. Casual attire. No flowers.

George W. Brazee, 50, of Temecula, Calif., formerly of Kaneohe, died April 20. He is survived by wife Patricia Arcen-Brazee; daughters Noralee Green and Tammy and Noelani Brazee, and four grandchildren. Services tomorrow in California.

Yoshiko Harauchi, 84, of Honolulu died April 15 in St. Francis Hospital. She was born in Makaweli, Maui. She is survived by son Hajime; stepbrother Shigeto Yoshioka; stepsister Suzie Yonezawa, and four grandchildren. Services were private.

Sok F. Hung, 65, of Pearl City died April 19. She was born in Canton, China. She is survived by husband Robert; sons Herman and James; daughters Edna and Joann; mother Hau Tu Wong, and a grandson. Services: 9 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Nuuanu Mortuary. Burial: 11 a.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery.

Tadashi "Tad" Kubota, 84, of Honolulu, retired Honolulu Mill Works president, died Wednesday in Maluhia Hospital. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Edith; sons Stanley and Patrick; daughter Phyllis De Peralta; sister Flora Le Vine, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services: 6 p.m. Thursday at Diamond Head Mortuary. Call after 5 p.m.

Hee Y. Lee, 90, of Honolulu died Wednesday in Kuakini Geriatric Care Inc. She was born in Seoul, South Korea. She is survived by sons Charles and Jin Yong; daughters Jun Sook Ehrensberger and Janie Nagakura, and 12 grandchildren. Services were private.

Robert E. McComb, 81, of Gresham, Ore., died April 16 in Oregon. He owned a painting business in Hawaii. He was born in Wyoming. He is survived by brother Gene; sister Janyce Pinney; sons Jon and Robert Jr., six grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Donations suggested to the Salvation Army.

Angel L. Silva Saludares, infant daughter of Darren Silva and Candice Saludares, died April 15. She is survived by parents; grandparents Loreto and Shari Saludares, and great-grandparents Elarion Saludares, Alejandrina Saludares, Alvin Champlin, and Shirley Champlin. Services were private.

Richard "Sam" Samuels, 62, of Hawaiian Shores, Hawaii, a retired chief marine engineer, died Wednesday. He was born in New York. He is survived by stepson Mark Ramos, four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Graveside services: 1 p.m. Friday at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. A memorial gathering will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday at 15-2801 Ono Street in Pahoa, Hawaii.

Katherine K.I. Sing, 99, of Kohala and Honolulu, died Thursday in Hale Hoo'la Hamakua Care Home. She was born in North Kohala, Hawaii. She is survived by son Thomas Jr.; two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren. Memorial services: 7 p.m. Friday at Borthwick Mortuary. Call after 6 p.m. Call Saturday after 9 a.m. Burial: 1:45 p.m. Saturday at Diamond Head Memorial Park Cemetery. Casual attire.

Baby Tibayan, infant child of Denise Tibayan and Nathan Keawekane, died Tuesday in Kapiolani Hospital. Born in Honolulu. Survived by parents; sister Natalie Keawekane; grandparents Faith Tibayan, Dowyne Keawekane and Malia Keawekane, and great-grandmother Pauline Palencia. Urn committal service: 9 a.m. Tuesday at Homelani Memorial Park. Casual attire. No flowers.
