The 5-foot-11 freshman was spectacularly consistent in victories over Iolani and University. She scored 17 points against the Raiders and 16 vs. the Junior 'Bows, and grabbed 10 rebounds in each game. In each game she shot 8-for-9 from the field. Athletes of the Week

Luke Okihiro The senior rolled in a 10-foot birdie putt on the first playoff hole to win the OIA individual championship at the Pearl Country Club. He was tied at 154 with Pearl City's Blaine Jasmin after two rounds. Okihiro was in fourth place after a 79 in the first round. He shot a 75 in the second round.

Outstanding performers in high school sports last week include:GIRLS' BASKETBALL
Samantha Ching, Kaiser : The junior forward scored 29 points in two games, collected 15 rebounds and four steals and blocked three shots.Milia Macfarlane, Punahou: Handed out 13 assists and grabbed 10 steals in a win over University and also scored nine points. She scored 20 points in a win against Iolani.
Kealani Kimball, Kamehameha: Averaged 16.5 points in wins over Mid-Pacific and Maryknoll.
Maricris Sierra, Nanakuli: Scored 24 and 15 points in wins over Waianae and Radford.
Robynn Afe, Farrington: Scored 22 points to lead Farrington past Kaimuki in a game that decided who got the final OIA Tournament berth.
Krystalynn Ontai, Kamehameha, Division II: Scored 18 points to lead the Warriors to an upset of previously unbeaten St. Francis.
BASEBALL
Bryce Miyashiro, Campbell: Batted 7-for-9 in two Sabers wins. Rapped a pair of doubles and knocked in a run against Moanalua.Kahi Kaanoi and Hubert Pruett, Kamehameha: Pitched a one-hitter to lead the Warriors to the ILH crown. Kaanoi struck out 12 in five innings and allowed a single, and Pruett struck out the side in the final two innings.
Egerton Westbrook, Waianae: Went 4-for-5 at the plate in two Seariders wins and knocked in three runs.
Sean Paiva, St. Louis: Pitched a complete game against Damien, scattering four hits and striking out seven. He also had two RBIs.
TRACK AND FIELD
David Hu, Punahou: Won two events at an ILH meet Saturday. Finished the 110 high hurdles in 16.51 and the 300 intermediate hurdles in 40.51.Vera Simms, Mililani: Won four events at an OIA meet: 100 high hurdles (14.6), 100 dash (12.35) and 200 (25.3) and the long jump (17-1).
Daniel Inferrera, St. Louis: Won the 100 (11.2) and the 200 dash (23.17) at an ILH meet.
TENNIS
Erin Hoe, Mililani: The top seed breezed through the OIA West Postseason Classic, dropping just nine games in five matches, and winning five of the 10 sets by a 6-0 score.Jamie Migia, Moanalua: No. 1 seed outlasted second-seeded Andrew Enomoto of Pearl City, 7-5, 6-4, in the boy's West final.
Michael Wojnarowicz, Kaiser: No. 1 seed won the OIA East Classic, defeating Anthony Illagan of Farrington, 6-4, 6-1, in the final.
Lauren Conching, Kaiser: No. 3 seed upset the top two seeds in the last two rounds to win the girls' East title. She beat Kimi Kwock of Roosevelt, 6-1, 6-7 (7), 6-2, in the final.
GOLF
Whitney-Reigh Asao, Hawaii Baptist: Shot a 166 to win the girls' ILH golf championship. She shot an 86 at Makaha West in the first round and an 80 at Waialae Country Club in the final round to win by six strokes.David Baptista, Kamehameha: Fired a 154 to win the boys' ILH championship. He shot a 73 in the first round at Makaha West Course and an 81 at Waialae to win by a single stroke.
JUDO
Gordon Pate and Chi Chen, Kaimuki: Teammates each were 10-point winners twice in the OIA Judo meet to lead the Bulldogs to a pair of wins, Pate in the 141-pound division and Chen at 180.
