Maricris Sierra scored a game-high 15 points and Rosemarie Kelley added 12 more as Nanakuli (8-2) beat Radford (5-5), 41-34, to finish third in the race for the Oahu Interscholastic Association Western Division girls' basketball championship.

Heather Massey tallied 11 points for Radford.

rally past Buffanblu

Ryan Tamashiro hit a sacrifice fly in the top of the ninth inning to score pinch-runner Matt Inouye and lift No. 3 Mid-Pacific (11-3) to an 8-7 victory over Punahou (8-6) at Ala Wai Field.

The winning rally started when Kevin Khan was plunked by Brent Teraoka. Inouye replaced him on the basepaths, and scored the go-ahead run.

Ricky Bauer relieved starter Eric Lum and pitched seven innings for the win, allowing two runs on five hits.

Punahou starter Josh Cardwell gave up seven runs in eight innings, but was hurt by five Buffanblu errors.

Sean Paiva went the distance for St. Louis, scattering four hits, striking out seven and walking seven. Paiva also drove in two runs.
