The fenced-in, grassy Bark Park provides a safe environment
for dogs to socialize and play, without the contraints of leashes.

Charity Lunch raises
funds for Bark Park

Dog lovers, trot on down to Bark Park, the free, off-leash dog playground at the corner of 18th Avenue and Diamond Head Road, for the park's annual fund-raising Charity Lunch noon to 2 p.m. Sunday.

For just $20 per person (there's no charge for dogs), you can enjoy a barbecue plate lunch and brownies from Dixie Grill Bar-B-Que and Crab Shack, cookies prepared by volunteers and entertainment by Carmen and Keith Haugen. Proceeds will go toward maintenance of the doggie gathering place.

Dog treats will be provided, and prizes wil be awarded for the best dog costumes.

Tickets are available at the park, or call Clark Hatch at 739-2515.

Parking for Bark Park is available on Diamond Head Road, at Kapiolani Community College and after hours in the Red Cross lot.
