Twelve-year-old Vince Killian stretches his arms in flight
on the E.K. Fernandez amusement ride "The Cliff Hanger"
during the first day of Hickam Carnival 2000. The carnival,
which opened at Hickam Air Force Base yesterday, runs
through tomorrow.
