On the road again
The University of Hawaii softball team visits southern California for six games, beginning with two at the University of San Diego tomorrow. The Wahine play Loyola Marymount in a doubleheader Sunday and 17th-ranked Long Beach State on Tuesday.UH will try to ride the momentum of a sweep of the Lions in their WAC season-opening doubleheader on Tuesday.

Students race Saturday
Oahu high school students meet Saturday at Hawaii Raceway Park for the first annual NAPA Auto Care Center's "High School Challenge." The all-day event includes drag racing and the McKenna Pit Crew Challenge. The gates open at 10 a.m. and activities continue until about 5 p.m. Admission is $6.
