UH-Hilo edges TCU

Dana McCracken's run-scoring double in the 10th inning gave the University of Hawaii at Hilo a 3-2 win over Texas Christian in a Western Athletic Conference baseball game last night at Wong Stadium.

Ryan Petersen walked to open the Hilo 10th and advanced to second on Brad Sanchez's sacrifice bunt. McCracken's shot then bounced off the left-field fence to drive in Petersen with the winning run.

The Vulcans improved to 12-18 overall, 3-8 in the WAC; the Horned Frogs fell to 8-18, 3-5.
