FULLERTON, Calif. - Freshman Kate Judd hit her second home run of the season and drove in four runs as the University of Hawaii softball team beat Louisiana-Monroe, 11-4, in the Kia Classic yesterday.

The No. 22-ranked Wahine set season-highs in runs and hits (15) to improve to 9-6 overall and 1-1 in the tournament.

Hawaii plays No. 2-ranked Arizona in its final pool play game today before advancing to bracket action tonight.

Rainbows coach Bob Coolen said Janelle Gonzales would start against Arizona. She pitched 4-1/3 shutout relief innings to get yesterday's win against the Indians.
