Gunning for
another title

Here's a high school national championship team from Hawaii you've probably never heard of: the St. Louis School four- position smallbore rifle team.

The Crusader Gold team of Ryan and Michael Tanoue, Jeremy Young and Kenneth Tong fired an aggregate 1547 on Sunday to win the Hawaii sectional of the NRA Four Position Smallbore Championship.

St. Louis' score will now be compared with other sectional winners to determine if it successfully defended its national title. Last year it won with 1554.

Four-position smallbore is fired from 50 feet, with 10 rounds from prone, standing, sitting and kneeling positions.
