Show Soft Side

Kawaiahao School teachers Maureen Plunkett, left, Jenny Willers,
Kimi Belcher and Salina Hardy brought their students for a
more personal view of favorite writers at the main state library
yesterday. Local authors Herb Kane, Lisa Matsumoto and
Jama Kim Rattigan joined Judy Blume, Marc Brown, Eric Carle
and others in contributing art for a quilt project
led by Maryknoll teacher Fran Wong.
