The seventh-ranked Hawaii Pacific softball team took a pair of Pacific West games from Hawaii-Hilo yesterday at the Sea Warriors' field. HPU doubles up
UH-HiloHPU used big fourth innings in both games to earn 7-1 and 4-1 wins. The Sea Warriors scored three in the third inning and four in the fourth in the first game, and all four runs in the fourth in the second game.
Shortstop Holly Garcia had four hits, two RBIs and a run scored for HPU (10-4, 4-0 PWC).
Jennifer Woodard pitched a complete game to improve to 7-2; she is 6-0 in games against Hilo.
Vulcan Diana Kim also had four hits, including a pair of doubles. Hilo fell to 11-6, 4-2.
