Reading across America

Students listened to Gene Franks, far right, aboard the
USS Missouri today as Navy personnel, some of whom dressed
as Dr. Seuss characters, took part in "Read Across America,"
sponsored by the National Education Association. The program
is designed to promote reading among youngsters.
