He retired in 1983 as manager of Ulupalakua Ranch after 20 years of service, served as land manager of Parker Ranch and had been a land surveyor. He is survived by wife Roselle; son A. Clive; daughters Virginia Kynast and Stephanie Sakugawa; brother John; sister Margo Morgan, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
