Sorry about that: UCLA coach Sue Enquist called Coolen to apologize for throwing into a garbage can the fourth-place trophy from the Chevron Paradise Classic on Feb. 13. The UCLA administration also sent UH an official apology letter.

Night and day: Coolen had the Wahine practice under the lights last night and will again tonight to prepare for tomorrow and Friday's 6 p.m. starts. "When we hit during the daytime against Texas (12 hits), it was lights out," Coolen said. "But we didn't hit well at night in other games."
On the air: Tomorrow's game against HPU will be televised live by KFVE.
