Marcelino A. Alip, 97, of Honolulu, who retired from the Honolulu Rapid Transit and the Hawaii Humane Society, died Feb. 13 in Aloha Nursing and Rehab Center. He was born in the Philippines. Jose H. Bareng, 89, of Pukalani, Maui, a retired laborer for HC&S, died Sunday in Maui Memorial Hospital. He was born in Ilocos Norte, the Philippines.
