Vulcans down Aztecs
Jacob Ryan's two-run single in the sixth inning broke a 2-2 tie and Hawaii-Hilo went on to a 5-2 baseball victory over San Diego State yesterday at Kailua-Kona.Brandon Chaves had three hits for the Vulcans (6-6), including a double that launched the deciding rally in the sixth against the Aztecs (2-3).
Pro Bowl golf at Waikoloa
The second annual Pro Bowl Celebrity Golf Tournament, a fund-raiser for the Waikoloa Recreation Association, will be played Feb. 8, at the Waikoloa Village course.The five-person scramble will feature one Pro Bowl player per group.
