Super Bowl party
benefits Cancer Society

Football, beer and burgers. If that's your idea of heaven, have we got a deal for you.

Watch the Super Bowl on Sunday in the company of a whole lot of other football fans -- even a boring game is more fun in a huge group, right? -- and do some good at the same time.

The Ilikai Hotel is sponsoring "Hawaii's Largest Super Bowl Party," beginning at 11 a.m. at the Pacific Ballroom.

Hot dogs and hamburgers will be served, along with beer and other foods befitting the occasion.

It's free, but a donation of $5 is suggested to benefit the American Cancer Society. Scrip will be sold for food and drinks.

An auction of sports memorabilia is also part of the event, along with a raffle for prizes such as a two-night stay at the Ilikai and a photo opportunity with the Coors Silver Bullet Girls. (If you don't win the raffle, you can still have your picture taken with the SB Girls for a separate donation.)

For more information call 486-8420.
