Seeing Eye dog Sultan, a 10-year-old Labradoodle (Lab-poodle) waits as
Patricia Blum checks out the latest in technology and information for the
blind and visually impaired. Ho'opono Resource Fair 2000 offered free
activities yesterday at the state center. Entertainment was provided by
Na Makalolos, a band of musicians who are all blind. They include
Lance Kamaka, left, band leader Rene Miyaguchi, Ben Abadilla
and Wayne Borge. Also present were members
Shelia Tamanaha and Gayle Isaki.
