Castle and the Oahu Interscholastic Association softball tournament both struck out yesterday at Roosevelt High School field. Castle falls in softball
The Knights fell victim to a 14-strikeout performance by Pearl City pitcher Loihi McKeague and the tournament schedule was a victim of rain. The Chargers shut out Castle, 6-0, in game called after five innings because of the weather.
Officials hoped to resume play today, beginning with the completion of yesterday's schedule. Aiea and Kaimuki were to meet at 1:30 p.m.
Yesterday, Rachel Lacar's two-run double highlighted Pearl City's four-run second inning.
