Cho’s shows sell out,
performance added
Comedian Margaret Cho's Jan. 20-22 performances of "I'm the One That I Want" at the Diamond Head Theatre have sold out, so a show has been added, also at 8 p.m., on Jan. 19 at the theater.
Cho's stand-up show is based on her experiences as the first Asian American to star in her own sitcom, "All-American Girl," and covers not only her meteoric rise and the disastrous aftermath, but also her recovery from the chaos and unhappiness involved.
Tickets are $35 and $45 and are available at Hula's, Ticket Plus outlets, Oahu Tempo Music stores, the MWR in Kunia and UH Campus Center. They are also available online at www.ticketslive.com and can be charged by phone at 526-4400.
