Edda Damon runs actors’
studio in New Jersey

Question: What ever happened to Edda Damon, sister of Liz Damon. They performed with the group Orient Express?

Answer: "I moved to New Jersey 12 years ago," Edda Damon said. "I married and had two children, R.J., 12, and Healani, 10."

The Damon sisters happen to be back home in Hawaii at the moment.

"We're both here having Christmas with our parents and our brother and his family," Edda said. "I don't perform any more, but I coach dramatics. I have my own business -- my own company. It's called Young Actors' Studio, and I coach drama, specifically improvisation, to young children -- to young actors."

Her company is now serving a private elementary school and a charter high school in New Jersey. "I also work as a drama coach for a ballet company, the Atlantic Contemporary Ballet Theater," Edda said.

The Orient Express was on the show circuit from Las Vegas to Reno to Chicago to Atlantic City for some 10 years, until the group disbanded in the mid-1980s.
