The Wahine's last victory was a straight-set sweep on Oct. 1, 1994, when the teams were members of the Big West. The Mustangs' last win came at Klum Gym in 1989, 3-2, which snapped UH's home win streak at 55.

About the Wahine: Hawaii finished out the WAC season unbeaten (14-0) with a 3-1 win over San Jose State. Bown was named co-Player of the Year and Kahumoku Freshman of the Year. Also named to the first team was Sudduth; on the second team were Carey, Lima and Jennifer Roberts.
About the Wildcats: Arizona ranks 20th nationally in blocking (2.96). The 'Cats finished 12-6 in the Pac-10, and have won six of their last seven matches... DaLee and Burkholder were named to the All-Pac-10 team and Rutlede was selected to the all-freshman team.
About the Mustangs: Cal Poly has won its last two matches, finishing Big West play with an 11-5 mark ...DeSoto, a high school teammate of Bown and Sudduth, and Melanie Hathaway were named all-BWC first team and O'Halloran to the second team. The Mustangs' only win over a ranked team was 3-2 over UCSB.
