Queen's Health sells management division

A subsidiary of Queen's Health Systems has sold its physician management division to Praxis Corp. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Praxis had provided physician management services to Queen's Health Management customers since February under a retainer agreement. The services included consulting, medical billing and technical support.

30-year mortgages up to 7.69 percent

WASHINGTON -- The average interest rate on 30-year, fixed-rate mortgages crept up to 7.69 percent this week from 7.67 percent last week, according to mortgage broker Freddie Mac. Fifteen-year mortgages averaged 7.31 percent this week, up from 7.30 percent last week. One-year adjustable-rate mortgages, lenders averaged an initial rate of 6.35 percent this week, up from 6.30 percent.
