Madeline E. "Madel" Bush, 86, died Oct. 29 in Lacey, Wash. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by son William; daughters Barbara Ann Doenecke and Margaret Riccardi, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services will be on the mainland. Donations in her memory are suggested to the American Cancer Society.

Aurelio L. Dela Cruz, 51, of Ewa Beach, a golf course maintenance man, died Nov. 1 in Kapiolani Hospital at Pali Momi. He was born in the Philippines. He is survived by wife Imelda; son Dustin Akui; daughters Catherine and Sheena Marie Dela Cruz and Jessica Akui; mother Antonina; brothers Loreto and Benjamin, and sisters Clarita Diaz and Remedios Tangonan. Services: 7 p.m. Monday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 91-1004 North Road. Call from 6 to 9 p.m. Burial will be in Mangato Cemetery in the Philippines. No flowers.

Howard Dias, 66, of Honolulu, a longshoreman for McCabe Hamilton & Renny, died Monday at home. He was born in Lihue, Kauai. He is survived by wife Sam; children Valerie T. Thornton, Gaylord and Howard Dias Jr. and Susan Hee; sister Gail, and 10 grandchildren. Services: 10:15 a.m. Monday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, makai chapel. Michael B. Johnson, 35, who served with the Navy aboard the USS Paul Hamilton at Pearl Harbor, died Saturday in Great Lakes Naval Training Center, near Chicago. He was born in Edmonds, Wash. He is survived by wife Sandy; children Michael Jr., Jacuelyn and Samantha Johnson, Mary Hall and David Wright; parents Patricia Macdonald and Ralph and Loriene Johnson; grandparents Margaret Johnson, Elise Moran and Violet Miller; and brothers and sisters Mitch, Sherry, Donald, Billy and Jenny Johnson, Donna and Bruce Brown, Shelly and Brent Duval, Rod and Jay Macdonald and Joanne, Mike, Karen and Kenny Nelson. Mary R. Kimball, also known as Darling Bishaw, 82, of Kaunakakai is survived by 29 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. The additional information for an obituary published yesterday was provided by the mortuary.

Jiro "Jerry" Masuda, 84, of Kaneohe died Nov. 2 in St. Francis-West Hospice. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by nieces and nephews. Private services.

Alice C.V. McFarlane, 82, of Kula, Maui, a retired nurse, died Tuesday at home. She was born in Virginia. She is survived by a sister in Virginia and care giver Cherie Attix. Sueo Mizushima, 96, of Kaneohe died Sunday in Beverly Manor. He was born in Kumamoto, Japan. He is survived by sons Harry, Paul and Walter; daughters Janet Chun and Helen Baba; sister Sueko Imada, and six grandchildren. Services: 7 p.m. Tuesday at Parker United Methodist Church. Charles E. "Bud" Morrison, 50, of Honolulu, a bamboo and kadomatsu artist, died Tuesday in Honolulu. He was also the owner of Tantalus Bamboo. He was born in Texas. Lene Nuumanaia, 84, of Honolulu, a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II, died Oct. 30 in Tripler Hospital. He was born in American Samoa.
