Hawaii State Seal

You can start legislative
watch on the Web now

It is not too soon to start watching what the boys and girls in the back room are up to at the state Legislature.

Although the Legislature doesn't meet until January, you can clear out some of the smoke in those rooms by hooking up with the Legislative Reference Bureau. The bureau has redesigned its Web site -- http://www.state.hi.us/lrb/ -- to give Internet users expanded selections with more information.

For instance, the reference desk link provides a gateway to a variety of information sources. Students looking for the details for social studies classes will be able to use the Issues section, and other researchers will find new sources of help in the Reference Bureau reports.

Finally, the site provides an easy link to the on-line edition of the state Constitution and the state Legislature.
