Tailback Joe Igber, who ran for a Cal freshman record 182 yards against Washington on Saturday, said he has an sprain in his right shoulder and will probably miss this weekend's home game against USC.

Hawaii's all-time prep rushing leader from Iolani set a Cal freshman single-game record in the Bears' 31-27 loss to Washington.

It was his third 100-yard game in a row.

As a starter, Igber has 411 in three games for an average of 137 yards per game.

Asked how it felt to set a record in only his third game as a starter, Igber responded soberly.

"It's no big deal because we lost," he said.

In the Pac-10, Igber stands seventh among rushers after seven games with 76.86 yards a game.
