George D. Carvalho Jr., 61, of California died Tuesday in California. He was born in Hawaii. He is survived by wife Antoinette; daughters Cherise Perez and Annette, Danette and Georgette Carvalho; mother Mamie Veriato; sister Diana DeRego; and a grandson. Services on the mainland. Rawlin K. Fernandez, 75, of Anahola, Kauai, a bus driver for Graylines Tours, died Sunday in Wilcox Hospital. He was born in Lihue. He is survived by wife Elaine K.; children Patricia Noda, Phyllis Miyake and Rawlin Jr., Solomon N., Shanna K. and Rawlin Fernandez III; brothers Ramond and Antone; sisters Edna Kim and Genevieve Naito; stepchildren Sam and Darnell Alapai; 16 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. James M. Hirao, 81, of Honolulu, a retired accountant for Dole Cannery Corp., died last Thursday in Straub Hospital. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Margaret F., daughter Kathleen H. Akira Hisanaga, 75, of Mililani, a retired storage branch warehouse supervisor at Kapalama, died Friday in St. Francis-West Hospice. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by wife Lillian S.; son Joel A.; daughters JoAnn A. Higa and Joy L. Nakata; brothers Hiroshi and Iwao; sisters Shinae Kimura and Mitsue Kawamoto; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Frances Won You Hu, 91, of Honolulu, died Oct. 13 in Scripps Hospital in California. She was born in Honolulu. Vanhkham Vixaysack, 82, of Aiea died Sunday in Kapiolani Hospital at Pali Momi. She was born in Laos. She is survived by sons Bountham Sikhattana and Bounthong, Bountheung, Phousavath and Phouang Vixaysakd; and daughters Somphanh Phanphengdy and Somphone Khounphixay.
