THE SEARCH FOR SIGNS OF
HAWAIIAN LIFE IN THE UNIVERSE

More Springs up

Back to Salt Springs Island near Vancouver this week, courtesy Faye
Koyanagi of Honolulu. This is "St. Paul's Catholic church which is
in Fulford Harbor on the other side of the island from the town of
Ganges where the Kanaka restaurant is located," she reports.
Church plaques indicate it was built by "kanakas" in the 1800s.

The Search for Signs of Hawaiian Life in the Universe is just that -- we're looking for evidence of Hawaiiana everywhere but Hawaii. Send snapshots and a description to TSFSOHLITU, Today Department, Honolulu Star-Bulletin, P.O. Box 3080, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813, or e-mail JPEGS to features@starbulletin.com
