Track Hydrofest
on the Internet,
as well as the water

Some of the fastest boats in the world will gather tomorrow and Sunday in Hawaii for the Pearl Harbor Hydrofest race.

Keeping track of the racing will be a special Web page at http://www.hydrofest.com/

The site will feature reports from the racing pits and from the Pearl Harbor race course as the jet-powered boats roar over the water.

Charles Moore, director of communication, is putting the site together and handling the Internet chores from his office in Kentucky.

"It says a lot for the power of the Internet these days," he said.

If you need a live view of the races, try http://www.dohc.com/aloha/ where you will find a live Web camera trained on the Arizona Memorial.

"Home on the Web" is a weekly Friday feature of the Star-Bulletin.
